REFRESH - And Add a Little Green for Spring

We are all feeling it right about now.

Whether it’s your walls closing in on you or your kids, we are all needing to hit the REFRESH button. I have been hitting that button A LOT. Daily, hourly, by the MINUTE, I am pushing myself to find perspective and meaning in the unknown rhythms that no longer feel like rhythms, but jolts, rather, in my days and weeks.

This morning, I sat down to work at my desk in the corner of our bedroom for a little bit. I felt grateful for a moment of “work time", but was unable to find creativity in my solitude. As my head was spinning and searching for focus, I decided to go and sand the wall in our dining room that I have been working on to release some physical energy and free my mind for a moment.

Upon returning, this is what I decided.

I am no longer going to view these days as “different.” I am going to call them our new normal and choose to not compare. I am going to seek rhythms and balance that feel good, but not get discouraged when it looks different. I am going to be honest in the hard things and losses, but continue to fight for acceptance of this RIGHT HERE AND RIGHT NOW. I am going to embrace this solitude and use it to do all of the creative things that I usually complain that I don’t have time for in my “normal” life.

I know there are so many gifts in this season and I am going to find ALL of them.

I am going to list out the things that I am grateful for daily and celebrate them.

Will you join me?

I am going to post one thing that I am grateful for on instagram stories each day this week. Drop in to see mine and join in and share one of your own!

+++ Below is a list of Spring Greens all linked up for you to browse. I hope these make you happy. Christian has stood his ground on not having lots of live plants in our housie lately. When I had Aslan, all of our plants suddenly died. hahahaha But, I compiled this little greenery lookbook in case you, like me, are feeling like you need to hit REFRESH in your home and add a little “life” with a plant that you cannot kill. I wanted to share my findings with you while the sales are goooood. Enjoy, friends! And let me know your favie plant from the list below in comments!

xoxo
